What is Project Node?
Explore strange landscapes, choose risky routes, and use cards to survive more than combat. A hand can defeat an enemy, open a path, pass a challenge, or reveal a hidden layer of the world. As you unlock new abilities, familiar places begin to change, not because your numbers are bigger, but because the rules are different.
This is a focused campaign, not a roguelite or an open-world RPG. Every route, fight, and discovery is part of one unfolding journey.

Explore connected, hand-crafted zones
Move through surreal 3D areas built around routes, landmarks, secrets, and safe places. Choose the direct path, risk a longer route, or return later when new abilities reveal what was hidden in plain sight.

Fight with poker-inspired tactics
Build hands, shift values, use suits, and activate abilities to turn each encounter into a scoring puzzle. Winning is not about having the highest poker hand, it is about understanding the rules well enough to bend them.

Uncover a world that does not explain itself
Story lives in the places you cross, the cards you collect, the symbols you notice, and the strange details that do not quite fit. Project Node is a mystery you read through exploration, not exposition.

Cherry Tree Studio is a remote indie game studio based across Europe.
We are a small team of seven developers, artists, designers, and storytellers working toward one focused goal: making strange, beautiful games where atmosphere and systems belong together.
Our work starts with worlds players want to understand. Places with rules. Mysteries with structure. Games where exploration is not just movement, and combat is not just winning, both are ways of reading the world.
Project Node is our first step in that direction.
